I had an amazing time on the iron curtain tour which was well organised so I could see a lot in a short space of time. Our tour leader was great; very knowledgeable and made good recommendations in each city. I was also pleased with the quality and location of the hostels. I will definitely consider booking with euroventure again.

Questions and Answers
Is travelling in Indonesia safe?
Indonesia is very safe indeed and is super trending as a tourist destination at the moment so you’ll be amongst likeminded travellers in your accommodation and in the places you visit. The most common dangers in Indonesia are sunburn, dehydration and hangovers, however travelling in a group with us makes it even safer! Our tour guides have travelled Bali extensively, and will share their experience, and local knowledge to ensure your safety throughout the trip and beyond.
I’m travelling alone. How will I meet people?
This trip is perfect for people travelling alone! You’re surrounded by other like-minded travelers for the duration of the trip and you’ll be mates for life with your group by the end! Members of the group even tend to stick together after the tour as they continue their travels through Indonesia, Australia/NZ & SE Asia!
Do I need a visa?
In some cases, yes, and the process is very easy! Citizens of 169 countries can enter Indonesia visa free including citizens from a number of European countries, Australia, NZ. Without proof of an onward ticket and sufficient funds for your expected stay any visitor can be denied entry, but in practice this is a formality that is rarely checked.
How much spending money will I need?
It’s very easy to get by in Bali for as little as £15 per day. However, try and budget for around £30 – it’s a once in a lifetime trip, so make the most of it.
How do I get back to Bali and the airport?
We offer a transfer from Gili T to destinations in Bali as well as the airport and this costs £30 per person. Please DO NOT book a flight on day 10 before 7pm as you need to allow time to travel from the Gili Islands back the mainland before you’re transferred to the airport.
How do I book flights?
We’d be more than happy to look at the best flights for you if you just let us know where you’d like to fly from.
When should I arrive in Bali?
We recommend arriving either the day before the tour starts or on the morning of day 1 so you’ve got time for some R&R. If you require or would like pre-trip accommodation in Kuta, Bali – just get in touch as we can add this to your booking.
