You’ll have one to three nights in each location, with plenty of time to explore historic sights, beaches, nightlife and more. There’ll also be unmissable activities which are included in your price – but there will also be other optional activities on offer. We’ve also included a few free days throughout your trip, so that you can chill out and do whatever you fancy.

Dubrovnik (1 Night)

Croatia’s most southern major city is our starting point for our journey up the Croatian coast.

Fly into “The Pearl of the Adriatic” and meet your tour group and leader at the hostel in the evening.  Explore the old town, whose wonderful marble streets and Baroque buildings have totally recovered after being bombed in 1991. You won’t be anything but awe-struck at its beauty, a medieval city perched against the Adriatic and positively beaming with charm.

After a relaxed afternoon exploring this walled city, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and get to know our group over a few drinks, before we continue on to Split in the morning

Dubrovnik Guides
Highlights
  • Take an optional Game of Thrones Tour to discover Kings Landing
  • Enjoy fresh sea food in the paved courtyards of the old town
  • Sip cocktails at the Hard Jazz Café

Split (2 Nights)

Even though Split is a port for many Croatian islands, sitting elegantly between the Adriatic and the mountains, the country’s second city has two UNESCO World Heritage sites within its walls, a marble waterfront walkway, and a buzzing atmosphere around its bars and pubs.

We’ll arrive in the afternoon, in time to explore the old town and taste some of the city’s delicious sea food, before hitting the bars for some well earned drinks. In the morning we’ll head out for our included excursion to the glamorous island of Hvar… explore the beautiful sea front, kayak between the tiny Pakleni islands or hike up to the fortress for one of Croatia’s best views…

Time to return for another beautiful sunset before we depart for our Croatian island retreat in the morning.

Split Guides
Highlights
  • Take a day trip to Hvar (included)
  • See the amazing ruin of Diocletian’s Palace
  • Admire the city as you approach it from the sea
  • Stroll along the glittering waterfront

Croatian Island (3 Nights)

A quick bus ride takes us to Sibenik, the pretty port town which is our starting point for the island retreat. We’ll enjoy some lunch with a sea view and stock up on supplies, before taking a ferry across to our festival style island – home for the next 3 days.

Here we’ll check in to our campsite and settle into our spacious four-person bell tents. Besides beautiful beaches and a pool perfect for chilling out with a cocktail, the island has a range of activities to assist your relaxation… From massages and yoga classes by day, to bars and world class DJ sets by night, we’ll spend two blissed-out days unwinding in the Adriatic before continuing to our final stop, Zadar.

Croatian Island Guides
Highlights
  • Chill out by the pool with a view of the stunning Adriatic
  • Stretch yourself with outdoor yoga classes
  • Enjoy festival style sets from DJs from all over the world
  • Treat yourself to a massage or meditation session

Zadar (2 Nights)

Like many of its Adriatic cousins, Zadar has plenty of stunning beaches and blue skies, but what makes it different is the amazing nature on your doorstep. We’ll arrive mid-afternoon, giving you time to explore the pretty old town, or alternatively explore the beautiful nearby nature reserves such as Pag.

The next morning, we’ll take a trip to Krka National Park, where you can see incredible blue pools, swim in enormous waterfalls and maybe even spot some local wildlife.

We’ll get back in time for a last sunset  – appropriate really, since sunsets in Zadar have been called the most beautiful in the world. Toast your new friends with some local beers, before we go our separate ways after a blissful week in Croatian paradise.

Zadar Guides
Highlights
  • Explore Krka National Park with your included excursion
  • Listen to the magical Sea Organ cut into Zadar’s beaches
  • Take a trip to Pag Island, just north of the city
  • Embark on an epic pub crawl with new friends

The team at Euroventure was outstanding! Not only were they knowledgeable and helpful, but they were always quick to respond, very accommodating, and made every part of our trip personal and meaningful. Highly recommend Euroventure and would definitely work with them again.

I have just returned from my 1 week interrailing trip! Me and my boyfriend went on the “Iron curtain” package and it was amazing. Euroventure organised everything and made it so easy. I would highly recommend anyone that wants to see more of Europe to go with this company.

My sisters and I had the best trip, we did a variation to the 4 week eastern traveller route and Euroventure were so helpful in making the trip suit our needs. Each hostel was great and in a good location. The info pack was such a great help and an amazing keepsake. The fact all of our travel was booked and set out meant we could spend all our efforts on experiencing everything! We truly had the best time and would 100% recommend to anyone. We’re already looking for our next trip! Thanks again for all your help - Alice, Kailey and Harriet :)

Questions & Answers

Don't see the answer you're looking for?

Question:
What makes your Euroventure Group Tours different?
Answer:
Great question! It's all about the travel style. We are a small company run by enthusiastic and experienced travellers - we think this is reflected in our tours. You'll travel in small groups of between 4 and 20, with a Euroventure leader. Your tour leader will be with you throughout, making sure you get on the right trains/busses, get to your hostels safely and making sure everyone's having an awesome time. You'll travel by public transport, either by coach or train, rather than using private transfers. We run all our tours this way - it's better for the environment and a more authentic experience for you. The welcome drinks and included activities in each place bring the group together, but you also have plenty of time to do your own thing too. Different groups have different dynamics, but we often go sightseeing, for dinner and on nights out together.
Question:
What sort of people book on to the Europe Group Tours?
Answer:
People like you who love to travel! From first time travellers to people who have travelled extensively before (including many of our past customers). We have a higher proportion of females than males and more single travellers than couples or groups. But as long as you want to travel and like the social aspect of being with other people then you will fit in just fine! Our staff are an inclusive and friendly bunch of people, and your tour leader will do their best to help the group get to know each other at the start of the tour.
Question:
Can I book on to a Europe Group Tour if I am not in the same age group?
Answer:
Our Europe group tours are split into two different age groups - 18 to 27 year olds and 28+. Each age group will have a different dynamic so if you are younger or older at heart and would like to be on a tour of a different age group then get in touch with us and we'll see what we can do!
Question:
How do I pay for a group tour?
Answer:
You can book and pay online from the package page with either a £150 deposit per person or in full. We will then send you a booking summary confirming your booking. If you have not paid in full your booking summary will contain a link for you to pay the remainder balance (at least 90 days before departure). Alternatively you can call or email us to secure your place on the trip, and pay over the phone, via online bank transfer or over the counter at your bank.
