Day 1 : Nadi
BULA and welcome to Fiji! Arrive at your accommodation and meet at reception at 7pm to head out for a welcome dinner where you will meet the rest of your Fiji family and experience a traditional Fijian welcome with a drink of kava!
Day 2: Coral Coast
An early start today as we are heading south to the Coral Coast, where we are going on an epic boat trip to explore Yanuca Island and enjoy some snorkelling, kayaking and a delicious beach BBQ! Back at our resort, we get the chance to do a sunset yoga class to find our zen in paradise.
Day 3: Coral Coast
The Coral Coast of Fiji is a perfect place to learn and practice your paddleboarding skills. After a delicious lunch, we then get our comfortable trainers on for a little bush trek to Novala Falls: this waterfall is sure to cool you off after the trek through the jungle. At night, we get another chance to see the incredible sunset and some drinks.
Day 4: Blue Lagoon, Yasawa Islands
Yasawa Islands here we go! Cruising “business class” with aircon, drinks and snacks available, while checking out some of the most beautiful islands on the way to our destination. If we’re lucky, we might even see some sea turtles or manta rays swimming around us as we travel. We check in to our epic resort at lunchtime then it’s a short walk to the restaurant for some delicious food. Once our bellies have been satisfied its time to head out for some kayaking, paddleboarding or you can get yourself a sunbed to work on your tan.
Day 5: Blue Lagoon, Yasawa Islands
Today we really get a chance to get an insight into Fijian living. Firstly, we visit some natural limestone caves and we’ll also visit a local village and immerse ourselves in their culture. We will learn some traditional crafts, play football or volleyball with some of the children and interact with the elders of the village, who will talk about the day to day lives of the Fijians and teach us how they farm and harvest their food.
Day 6: Mantaray Island, Yasawa Islands
The exploring doesn’t stop as we head to Mantaray Island, which has some of the best snorkel points in the world! With over 1,000 species of fish and mammals in the surrounding waters, you’ll soon see why. When we arrive we will get the opportunity to snorkel and have a few games of volleyball on the beach and even sip on some delicious cocktails while perfecting that tan. Come night time we will gather around the campfire and enjoy the evening with the group.
Day 7: Mantaray Island, Yasawa Islands
On our second day on Mantaray Island, we will start it off with some beach activities and explore some exciting spots that only the locals know about. This evening is our last evening together, and what better way to end a great week than with a sunset boat trip, relaxing with an ice cold drink in your hand, watching the beautiful sunset, floating around the crystal clear waters of Fiji. Back on dry land, we enjoy a farewell dinner – with local dances – and then we party in style with the rest of the groupies to celebrate the end of the best trip of your life!
Day 8: Mantaray Island, Yasawa Islands
Time to say goodbye to some of your group and to swap those awesome pictures. For those of you who will continue your travels in Fiji, your group leader will be on hand to provide info on the best islands to visit, book your transport and any other activities such as scuba diving. For those who need to leave Fiji, your leader will be able to organise your transport to the main island to catch your flight.

I had the most amazing time on the Iron Curtain Tour! We managed to fit so much into the week, with so many great recommendations by our awesome tour leader. Any difficulties as a cause of current travel situations were resolved without issue, and I always felt safe. Euroventure tours are to the best places, with the best people, and I cannot recommend them enough. Please do yourself a favour and book with them!

I had an amazing time on the iron curtain tour which was well organised so I could see a lot in a short space of time. Our tour leader was great; very knowledgeable and made good recommendations in each city. I was also pleased with the quality and location of the hostels. I will definitely consider booking with euroventure again.

Questions and Answers
What’s the accommodation like in Fiji?
We will move across four different locations during the tour and rooms will vary between twin shares to dorm accommodation. Accommodation in Fiji can be simple ‘island style’ but all of our resorts/hostels have been carefull selected and are clean, secure and in great locations.
Do I need a visa?
Citizens of the UK, the majority of Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and America are not required to obtain a Fiji visa when travelling to the island. However, all travellers will require a return or onward flight out of the country. Please check the most up to date visa requirements with your relevant embassy. British passport holders can check out the FCO website.
How do I book flights?
Best to speak to us about flights if you just let us know where you’ll be flying from and we’ll get back to you with flight costs for your departure dates.
What time should I book my return flight?
You don’t usually arrive back in Nadi until 7pm so we strongly recommend you to book a flight the following day.
How much spending money do I need to bring?
Meals cost around £10 in Fiji and drinks cost approx £4-5 so plan around your meals and some souvenirs.
Is airport pick up included?
Yep, airport pick up is included for those arriving on the start day or 1-2 days before the trip starts.
Numbers of groups (age limit and size)?
The size of our groups vary but the maximum number is 10 which makes for a small intimate feel which our customers enjoy and ages range between 18-30 🙂
