Top Attractions

Running of the Bulls

Pamplona is famous for the running of the bulls. The festival takes place in early July. During the week bullfights are held at the Plaza de Toros.


The fortress was built in the 16th century. It has since been used as a prison, however today houses a number of exhibitions.

Plaza Del Castillo

A busy public square in the heart of Pamplona. The square is the site of many events and markets.

Parque de la Taconera

For a relaxed walk in the sun the park is a beautiful green space on the borders of the old town, designed in a mix of architectural styles.

Cultural Attractions

  • Iglesia de San Nicolás: The fortress type church was built in the 12th century.
  • Museo de Navarra: With 34 different rooms the museum displays a series of roman artefacts.
  • Cathedral of Pamplona: Located near the Plaza de Castillo the stunning cathedral was built in the 15th century in gothic style.

Free walking tours run every day in Pamplona from outside the city hall. The tours last 1h30-2hours and you must give 24 hours notice 🙂
