On November 29th, Leeds-based travel start-up Euroventure was honoured with the Silver Award for ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ at the British Youth Travel Awards, coming second only to Warner Brothers Studio Tours in London!
Congratulated for the strength of their video entry, Euroventure Travel were awarded the silver! The gold award went to Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tours, with bronze awarded to Study Link Educational Tours.
For 11 years The British Youth Travel Awards have recognised excellence in the educational and youth travel industry across a range of areas. The awards are coordinated by the British Educational Travel Association (BETA) and are designed to “highlight the fun, creative and diverse products and opportunities that are on offer to young travellers”.
Expert industry judges selected finalists in categories such as “Best Leisure Product”, “Best Youth Travel Destination” and “Best Marketing Campaign”. All the finalists were invited to attend the awards ceremony alongside BETA members, sponsors, panellists and celebrity guests.
Having entered the awards for the first time this year, the Yorkshire travel start-up were delighted to receive recognition for their consistently excellent service – especially against such strong competition.
Speaking about their win, Euroventure’s Managing Director Philip Cabra Netherton said:
“It’s a great honour to win this silver award at the BYTA 2018. As a company we always strive do to our best for our travellers and it’s fantastic to be recognised by the industry for our excellent customer service. Thanks to the judges for choosing us and to BETA for a great evening“
The night itself was held at Planet Hollywood in London’s West End. From the bar, kindly sponsored by Student Universe, to the hilarious photo booth, event organisers BETA pulled out all the stops to ensure that guests celebrated the British Youth Travel Awards in style. Euroventure plan to continue their growth strategy, and hope that next year’s awards will bring even greater success!
