Kolner Dom

Undoubtedly Cologne’s main tourist attraction is Kolner Dom. The cathedral. Visitors can choose to climb the many stairs of the South Tower or simply enjoy the arts and treasures within the cathedral.

Die Kolner Synagogue

The synagogue’s striking architecture attracts many tourists, it was visited by Pope Benedict XVI in 2005.

Hohenzollern Bridge

The Hohenzollern Bridge is one of Cologne’s most well known bridges. The pedestrian walkway allows pedestrians to walk over the bridge and admire the views of Cologne’s skyline. Many couples also place locks on this bridge to show their loyalty to each other.

Best Places To Go Out

Cologne is not short of brewhouses where you will find locals and tourists enjoying Kolsch, the local beer. You will find a selected of nightclubs in the old town (Altstadt) or you could head to the University Quarter around Barbarossa Platz to find student bars and clubs!

Museum Ludwig

The museum was one of the first in Cologne to display modern art; the permanent collection also displays work by Pablo Picasso.

The 12 churches are positioned in a semi-circle around the centre of Cologne. There are many guided and self-guided tours of the 12 stunning churches.

Free Walking Tour

Free walking tours run every day at 12:11pm and 4:11pm from underneath the Eigelstein-Torburg. The tour lasts 2 and a half hours and ends near the River Rhine.
