This is the area near the marina with many beautiful coloured buildings – this is the classic Porto scene. It’s also the best place to find the nightlife scene!

Igreja de Sao Francisco

A gorgeous Portuguese style church made from imposing dark-coloured stone.

Livraria Lello

One of Europe’s most famous and beautiful bookshops/public libraries – this is the perfect place to browse and wander.

Clerigos Tower

A really great place to get a lookout over the city – the spiral staircase goes right up to the top where there’s a viewpoint.
