This package is our most popular 2 week Interrailing route, and we can see why!
With our 2 week option, you’ll start from London and tick off some of Europe’s most popular cities in just 15 days! You’ll see the sights, enjoy some of Europe’s best nights out and come back ready for the next adventure.
If you wake up late in Amsterdam or fancy a few more hours in Berlin, don’t worry! The joy of interrailing is that a lot of your journeys are open (meaning you can choose any time train – no reservation needed), so you can change your plans at the last minute and cram more sightseeing in, if you prefer!
Start your European backpacking route in London, before zipping across to Paris and settling in with a café au lait and croissants. Take in the city’s iconic landmarks, before heading off to experience the famously buzzing nightlife in Amsterdam. With coffeeshops and museums galore, you’ll have the perfect mix of culture and partying to contend with! Next up is the cosmopolitan and edgy atmosphere in Berlin, the European city that never sleeps. Carry on to Prague for gorgeous Gothic scenery by day, and long, boozy nights in secret underground bars by night. Next, head south to classical Vienna, the music capital of the continent.
Next, it’s on to Italy. Travel overnight in a comfortable couchette (bed in a shared cabin) to make the most of your time, and arrive bright and early in beautiful Venice. Ride gondolas down the canals and get lost in its picturesque labyrinth of quaint backstreets. Finally, as you pull into Rome, prepare to be spoilt for choice when it comes to sight-seeing in one of the world’s most photogenic cities. The Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and Castel Sant’Angelo, are all must-sees, obviously! Be sure to tick off the smallest country in the world, the Vatican City, and spend the last few days of your European backpacking adventure exploring the historic streets, piazzas and palaces of Old Rome. When night falls, the city comes alive… Head to any of the city’s many unique clubs and chilled pavement bars, and you’ll be guaranteed a great trip finale! How else would you toast the end of such an amazing trip?
Start your trip in London with the Eurostar from St Pancras. If you’re travelling on an Interrail pass for the trip, you can use this to get from your hometown to London for free, as long as it’s on the same day as your departure! This does not apply if you have individual tickets in PDF form.Or why not add a few nights here to see the sights of the capital? Prefer to fly to Amsterdam rather than taking the Eurostar? No problem, just reply to your quote email and tell us – we’ll adjust the price for you.
